ERA SCHOOL BOOTCAMP REVIEW

A Night of Stories & Engaging Activities with Curious Conversations

We shared a captivating story about Sinbad and his adventurous voyage, which the students enjoyed immensely. To bring the story to life, three students participated in a role-play, helping to read it out. Following this, the children creatively rewrote or illustrated the story in their own words, successfully capturing its essence.

Dream Weaver:
We began with the Dream Weaver activity, encouraging children to think about and share their dreams. Although the energy level was varied, some children were very enthusiastic about sharing.

Breathing Exercise & Cleaning Activity:
A breathing exercise followed, but it could have been more effective with better instructions and energy. We then divided the children into groups for a cleaning activity. Despite starting late, the session ended on time, and the children made significant progress with minimal instructions.

Reflection & Interviews:
After the activities, we discussed fear and shyness, focusing on improving voice projection and body language for better engagement. We also interviewed two cleaners about their job experiences, who emphasized the importance of teaching children about cleanliness.

The bootcamp helped build the children’s mindsets about cleanliness and gave me the courage to embrace fear and failure.
